The Voyages of Roam & Roam II
Roam is a 1981 Rival 34 sloop designed by Peter Brett. We sailed her from Southampton in May 2005 to Turkey in 2007. Roam II is a 1987 Najad 390 which we bought in early 2008. We will continue our voyages - 'roaming' around the Med and hopefully heading towards India into 2009/10.

Update: 24 June 2009:
Roam II & crew are in: Orhaniye, Marmaris, Turkey
The weather has improved markedly and its now very hot, so of course we've been in a boatyard doing our anti-fouling. It's a very friendly place in a beautiful setting - pine forests, oleander bushes and even a resident pelican! We're back in the water now with a clean bottom and shiny hull.

As you may know, we are planning on heading south and east towards India later this year. We have found a number of other cruisers in the area also interested in doing the trip so we've set up a loose group to share information and maybe cruise in company.
